These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website checkmysugar.com and the consultation services provided by Dr. Hanish Gupta ("the Doctor"). By using this website or booking a consultation, you agree to these Terms.

1. Nature of services

We provide diabetes, metabolic and cardiovascular medical consultations, online (by video) across India and in-person at LifeAID Clinic, New Delhi. Online consultations are conducted in accordance with the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines, 2020 issued under the National Medical Commission framework.

3. Booking & consultation process

• Consultations are requested via WhatsApp at +91-8510911911. A video slot is typically confirmed within 24 hours, subject to availability.
• You are asked to share relevant reports and current prescriptions before the consultation.
• After the consultation you receive a written summary and a management plan.

4. Fees

The consultation fee is shared with you when your appointment is confirmed. Fees are communicated to you before the consultation is confirmed. Payment terms and the refund/cancellation policy are set out in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

5. Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate, complete and current information about your health.
• Follow the agreed management plan and seek timely review.
• Do not rely on the consultation as a substitute for in-person examination where one is clinically necessary; the Doctor may advise an in-person visit or local testing.

6. Professional discretion

The Doctor may decline or discontinue a teleconsultation if it is determined that the condition cannot be appropriately managed remotely, and may recommend in-person care instead.

7. Intellectual property

All content on this website (text, images, videos and the written plans provided to you) is owned by or licensed to Dr. Hanish Gupta and may not be reproduced for commercial use without permission. Your personal management plan is provided for your own use and that of your treating physicians.

8. Limitation of liability

Medicine involves inherent uncertainty. While care is provided diligently and in line with current evidence, no specific outcome is guaranteed. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the fee paid for the relevant consultation.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at New Delhi shall have jurisdiction.

10. Changes

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the website or services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
